Birthday Adventure

We celebrated Tarver's 10th BIG with friends and adventure. . .

A creeking expedition

Led by two fearless dads (thanks for your help, Kris- Bob would have literally been

up a creek without you!)

Washing up after the creek

{mud = fun}

We might just be disputing the waterproof claim on these boots

Adding a little danger to the post-creeking adventure by demonstrating how to start a fire without matches and then-

Letting our guests fend for themselves by cooking their own dinner.

(P.S. You won't find this move in Hospitality 101)

Braden demonstrated how to bake a peach cobbler over a campfire.

Now, this is what I call survival cooking.

We did a little marshmallow roasting and toasting -

We enjoyed cobbler with vanilla ice cream (so did the ants!)

We enjoyed very much celebrating this milestone in Tarver's life with a wonderful group of young men. Thanks to all for being so good to us!

  2. If there was mud and fire-starting involved, I'm not very surprised my brother in law was there. :) Happy Birthday, Tarver!!!
